Silicon Institute of Technology was honored with the "Outstanding Engineering Institute East" award by ABP News, in their National Education Awards 2015. This award is in recognition of leadership, development, marketing an Institute and industry interface. The award ceremony was held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, on the 23rd of July, 2015 and took place following the day's proceedings of the World Education Congress, held at the same venue. Our honorable working Trustee Mr. Dhall accepted the award on behalf of the Institute.

BPUT Gold Medal Winners from Silicon
Eight of our graduates from the 2012-13, 2013-14, and 2014-15 batches have been awarded BPUT gold medals. They are Prerna Sharma (EEE), Sonu Agarwal (ETC) and Aditi Panda (CSE) of the 2012-13 batch, Prichchha Gupta (EEE) and Partha Pradeep Mishra (ETC) of the 2013-14 batch and Kumari Kamna (EEE), Shreya Kedia (CSE) and Khusboo Kumari Jain (MCA) of the 2014-15 batch.
Ms. Prerna Sharma and Ms. Prichchha Gupta have been awarded the prestigious Arjun Bhuyan Gold Medal for being the overall University topper in their respective years, by BPUT.
