Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities

Silicon West established the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities (BSH) in 2009 to provide students, across various engineering programs, a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Management.

The curriculum engages students in discussions on human values and professional ethics. Students keep up to date with the latest developments in humanities, social sciences, and management. Courses on English writing, speaking, and soft skills enhance professional communication skills.

The Department prepares students for rewarding careers and supports their personal development.
