Department of Civil Engineering

Silicon West established the Department of Civil Engineering in 2010 to provide students with a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of civil engineering. Frequent industrial visits, summer training, and seminars keep students up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

The curriculum teaches students about planning and designing for hydraulic structures, water distribution, transportation systems, town planning, waste management systems. They will learn to supervise and evaluate the construction of the structures and their maintenance, materials, and resources needed.
